Behind WAHsuits

Meet Pin the Panda

The maker, designer, sewer, 3D modeler and sleep-deprived creature behind every WAH.

yes, it’s still me.
just different fursuit.

From Cosplay to WAHs

I started sewing and making cosplay costumes when I was 14 years old. What began as a hobby quickly became a huge obsession with costume making, character design and bringing creatures to life.

I studied at an Italian Art High School and later attended the Academy of Fine Arts, where I specialized in 3D design and digital modeling.

Today, every WAH is entirely made by me: from 3D modeling and printing, to patterning, sewing, fur work, finishing details and final assembly.

yes, I made plushies too.
the jump to fursuits was inevitable.

Theater, Plushies & Fursuits

My love for sewing eventually brought me into the costume and tailoring department of the theater in my city, where I worked on stage costumes and learned professional construction techniques.

After that time, I also started creating plushies and soft sculptures.

Honestly… from plushies to fursuits, the difference is sometimes just the size.

WAHsuits was born from the idea of combining everything I love: sewing, costume making, 3d modeling and make people happy. Now I am happy too!.

Every WAH is handmade by one person only: designed, modeled, printed, sewn and assembled in Italy by Pin.

WAHLAB

Where creatures meet technology

WAHsuits was built around a simple idea: keep experimenting.

The mission of WAHLab is to explore new technologies and combine them with traditional craftsmanship to create more expressive, durable and customizable fursuits. From the earliest design stages to the final details, every tool is part of the creative process. Professional 3D design, digital fabrication and advanced manufacturing techniques are integrated alongside traditional sewing and costume making.

Textile Lab

Professional sewing machines, embroidery systems and creature engineering.

3D Design & Scanning

Professional 3D modeling workflows are used to design custom components, develop new solutions and improve comfort and fit. Whenever possible, 3D scanning can be integrated into the process for even more accurate results. Bodysuits, for example, can be done using 3D scan, instead of the old dtd method.

3D Printing Farm

Custom TPU bases, eyes, noses and experimental parts are produced in-house through a dedicated printer farm.

Digital Fabrication

Laser cutting, sublimation printing and DTF production for accurate colors and durable details.

Tomorrow? Probably something even weirder.
